Define

Define the problem you are trying to solve from the point of view of your end-users

Course Module Details

In this stage, designers use the insights they gained during the empathy phase to clearly define the problem they are solving for and develop a “problem statement” that addresses the experiences of the community. We reflect on what we heard and saw during the empathy phase. We reflect on our own biases. We reflect on the power dynamics at play and the systems of oppression that cause harm.
